We are the youth organization of the Communist Refoundation Party (Partito della Rifondazione Comunista) in Pavia, Italy. We unite young people under 30 who believe in the necessity of radical transformation of capitalist society. Our city needs a voice that defends the rights of workers, students and all those who struggle for a better future.

Who We Are

We are proudly communist, part of the youth organization of the Communist Refoundation Party. In Pavia, we carry forward the battles for social justice, equality and workers' rights. We believe that the radical nature of the times we live in requires equally radical responses.

Our struggle is a daily fight against the injustices of the capitalist system, to build a society where labor and human dignity come before profit. We are present in schools, universities, workplaces and on the streets of Pavia.

Our History & Tradition

Young Communists represent a tradition of struggle rooted in the history of the Italian labor movement. From the Resistance to student and worker struggles, we have always been a reference point for those who want to change the world.

In Pavia, we continue this tradition, adapting the struggle to contemporary challenges: precarity, housing rights, environmental defense, antifascism and international solidarity.

Our Values

Social Justice

We fight for a society where every person has the right to a dignified life, work, housing, education and healthcare.

Antifascism

We are at the forefront of the fight against all forms of fascism, racism and discrimination. The memory of the Resistance guides our actions.

Internationalism

Our struggle knows no borders. We support liberation movements and oppressed peoples worldwide.

Ecology

Environmental defense is inseparable from the struggle against capitalism. Another world is possible and necessary.

Our Activities

We participate in student and worker mobilizations, organize debates and educational meetings, support struggles for housing rights and against precarity in Pavia.

We are present in antifascist demonstrations, peace initiatives and international solidarity campaigns. Our headquarters serves as a reference point for all those who want to commit to real social change.

During the pandemic we carried out campaigns for the shutdown of non-essential activities, universal basic income, rent emergency relief and defense of public healthcare. We continue to fight for the rights of workers and students.
